Housing Stabilization Services Sustaining

HOW IT WORKS
Through Housing Sustaining Services, Ability Care Services will assist clients to maintain stability in housing after they have moved in. This may include:

• Education on tenant-landlord rights and responsibilities
• To provide training on how to be a good tenant and to be compliant with lease, addendums and other terms
• Coaching to develop relationships with property managers and neighbors
• To investigate problems that might arise and help to resolve them hence maintaining housing stability
• Connecting applicants to resources related to non-housing goals such as employment agencies
• Coordinating with other service providers already working with the person
